Returns and Delivery Policy

1. Introduction

This Returns and Delivery Policy (“Policy”) is hereby established by Windows4You LLP (“Windows4You”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and governs the terms under which orders, deliveries, returns, and refunds are processed via our online platforms.

By placing an order with Windows4You, the customer (“you”, “the buyer”, “the customer”) acknowledges and accepts the following terms in full. This Policy shall be read in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

2. Dispatch & Delivery

2.1 Dispatch Timescale

All confirmed orders are processed and dispatched within one (1) working day. Orders placed on non-business days (weekends or UK-recognised public holidays) shall be processed the next business day.

2.2 Delivery Partner and Timescale

Deliveries are fulfilled via recognised third-party courier services (e.g., DHL, DX, Royal Mail), selected at our sole discretion. Standard delivery timelines range between one (1) and seven (7) calendar days from the dispatch date. However, delivery times are indicative only and subject to courier availability, traffic conditions, and seasonal demand. Delays caused by the courier or force majeure events shall not render Windows4You liable.

3. Return Policy

3.1 General Return Terms

In accordance with applicable UK consumer protection law and online marketplace policies (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Google Shopping), we permit returns within 14 calendar days from the delivery date, provided the following conditions are met:

  • The item must be unused, undamaged, and in its original condition, including all original packaging, labels, instructions, and accessories.
  • Any item returned in a used, incomplete, or non-resalable condition will be subject to rejection or partial refund at our sole discretion.
  • Customers are advised to retain proof of return postage (with tracking number) for reference.

3.2 Return Costs

Unless otherwise stated or agreed in writing, the cost of return postage is the responsibility of the customer. Windows4You LLP does not provide pre-paid return labels unless the return is due to fault or error on our part.

4. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

4.1 Notification Requirement

In the event that a product arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what was ordered, the customer must notify us within 48 hours of receipt. Notification must be made via email to shop@windows4you.co.uk and include:

  • A clear description of the issue
  • High-quality photographic evidence of the item and, if applicable, the external and internal packaging

4.2 Verification and Remedial Action

Upon receipt of the above, Windows4You will conduct an internal investigation and may consult with the courier. If the issue is verified, we will offer one of the following remedies, at our discretion:

  • A full refund including return postage
  • A replacement product
  • A partial refund if the customer wishes to retain the item

Failure to provide sufficient documentation may result in denial of refund or exchange.

5. Refund Procedure

Refunds will only be initiated once the returned item is received and inspected by our warehouse team. The refund will be issued to the original payment method within seven (7) working days, subject to:

  • Confirmation that the returned goods meet the return criteria;
  • No evidence of use, damage, or modification.

Refunds will not be granted for returns that arrive damaged due to improper packaging by the customer.

6. Exclusions

The following items are excluded from return unless faulty upon delivery:

  • Made-to-measure or custom-manufactured products
  • Clearance or discounted “end-of-line” items
  • Items clearly marked as non-returnable in the product description

7. Fraud Prevention & Abuse

Windows4You LLP reserves the right to refuse returns or refunds in cases of:

  • Repeated return abuse;
  • Evidence of tampering, unauthorised repairs, or fraud;
  • Violation of marketplace terms or our internal policies.

8. Legal Disclaimer

Nothing in this Policy shall affect your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. This document is subject to revision without prior notice and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
